Grocery Coupons Can Really Add Up
I am an avid couponer because I am addicted to saving money. Unlike most people, I do use coupons in a variety of ways. I love using online coupon codes to save money on products that I can’t purchase at local stores. I also love to cut and collect traditional printed coupons and use them at local stores, especially grocery coupons. Sometimes I combine both techniques by printing out grocery coupons online and using them at the local grocery store. At the end of the day – it all adds up to a ton of money being saved.
I wanted to take this time to share with you a coupon trick that I have been using for years: combining manufacturer coupons with store coupons. So here it is…
The two common types of coupons used at local grocery stores are coupons that the store itself has issued for the products in their store and manufacturer coupons that manufacturers issue for their own product, which must be carried in that particular grocery store. Whoever issues the coupon is the party that takes the hit in revenue- but when they both decide to issue a coupon for the same product it’s a consumers dream.
This is how I use both types of coupons at the same time to save double the money. I get the weekly coupons from my local grocery store. I go through and cut out the ones that apply to products I might buy. I go online and look up the manufacturers of those products. Most manufacturers offer great coupons on their own website. If I find a coupon for a product that I already have a store coupon for, I print it out and pair the two together! Chaaa-ching! Money is being saved like crazy around this household!
Hope you enjoyed this tip, and remember, there are many more to come!
